As Nicky and the team prepare to take matters into their own hands, a run-in with a vigilante named Bo leaves Nicky wondering who this mysterious stranger in her city is. Elsewhere, following the legal fallout from her app, Althea and Dennis move back in with Mei-Li and Jin, and Ryan and Sebastian adjust to living together, while juggling their busy schedules. Finally, the unexpected arrival of someone from Nicky's past rocks her to her core.

When someone from Nicky's past shows up unexpectedly, she reaches out to Ryan for help uncovering why. Jin takes on the Chinatown Council, while Evan and Althea investigate what may be behind the city's recent rise in crime. Finally, Mei-Li meets with Carrie, the representative of a restaurant investment group, and Henry's globetrotting search brings him to one of his father's former allies.

After learning that Henry is a person of interest in a heist gone wrong, Nicky travels to Thailand to help him — a move that forces them to confront their unresolved issues.
